Fundraising

From the beginning of 2010 to date, now we have received various donations from kind people all over the UK, right up to Scotland, who are helping us with the building of the pre-school building. The kitchen is nearly complete. The money sent this year's month of May is to start the roofing. Then we move on to the school building itself. Thanks to all who are giving monthly via direct debit as this money is paying all the salaries of our six workers employed at the Centre. We have the Caretaker, the Matron, the Machine Minder, the Night Watchman, the Nursery School Teacher and the Tailoring School Teacher. We thank the donations made at Morrison Stores and all the kind people we met who not only contributed but encouraged us and took documents for distributing to other areas for awareness of what we are doing. We thank you all for your help in all this ways including your prayers and encouragement. praying, encouraging us. We owe Solomon and his wife Gladys Daudi in Tanzania who are the ones really holding the steering wheel of the whole project. Their presence there is very encouraging and safe for the Project. Above all we thank our God, who is the provider of all our needs and who is the one who moves people to respond to His work.

The Variety Praise Concert at St Francis Church held on the 14th November was a great success. Over £500 pounds was raised which will be used to lay a foundation for NyotaStar Christian Centre Pre-school. We thank Saint Francis Church who kindly provided the premises for the event. A big thank you for all performers especially the children, the organisers and all those who enjoyed the praise and worship.

We want to thank the people who have already sponsored a child for secondary education. Already 12 children have been sponsored in this way. We thank God because the future for these children is now secure. If you wish to sponsor a child please do contact us.
